New DRG hard copy & digital maps, Infrastructure
maps from USACE
We received 10 hardcopy maps from Henry Wolter of the U.S.
Geological Survey National Geospatial Programs, Hawaii and
Pacific Basin Islands. The digital DRG was downloaded and
placed into the topology directory in the Databank (tut_east,
tut_west, man_east, man_west) where the previous DRG resides.
Ron Salz from the US Fish and Wildlife Service is sending

Ron for getting the maps to American Samoa.
Justin Pummell of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Honolulu

containing Quickbird imagery and topomaps for areas without
current imagery. These maps were created to aid in the infrastructure
damage assessment by TOHS. Copies of the digital maps can
be obtained from DOC GIS. Thanks to Justin and Benton for
creating these maps.
2001 Vegetation Classification by USFS (Draft) available
for viewing
Lisa Fischer sent down a draft version of the vegetation

An accuracy assessment will occur in the next 2-3 months between
Land Grant and technical help from DOC.

ASPA/ASTCA protocol (Appendix A for SDI)
ASPA and ASTCA held a meeting within the past month with
members from upper management to create a protocol for contact
